TEXAS HOMEOWNER ASSISTANCE FUND PROGRAM
The Texas Homeowner Assistance Fund Program (TXHAF) provides financial assistance
to qualified Texas homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgage, property taxes,
insurance, and HOA fees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Visit the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs website to review the program’s
qualifications or to check the status of a current application. The website also provides
information about speaking with a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
approved housing counselor. Housing counselors give advice on buying a home, renting,
defaults, forbearances, foreclosures, and credit issues.
